" Chill hostel located on the sunset side of Don Det. The staff are friendly, they have a decent food menu, and a fun atmosphere. The dock along the water allows you to chillout at night and watch the sunset while drinking some beers and listening to music. For Don Det, it's one of the more livlier places to stay, so if you are traveling solo and looking to meet people, this is a great place.
The dorms are basic but clean and cost 20k. Bungalows are 40k. These prices were during the low season (September) and may be a bit higher in the dry season. The only drawback is that the location is 20 minutes from town, but they will pick you up from the dock in a motorbike and because it's a bit of the way off, it is more quiet. "

" I spent two nights there. The room is quiet cheap, only cost 20k per night. The food is really good, omelette with bacon sandwich and noodle soup are highly recommended.
While the location is quiet off from the pier, about 1.8 km, you can rent a bike from the first restaurant you see when you get on land, usually it's gonna cost you 10k per day. But the good side is you can get away from the touristy street and enjoy the view calmly.
The hotel is owned by a big lovely family and the host can speak English and offer some advice on one day tour. "

" Chilled place and good to meet people. Nice bar opposite to watch the sunset and sometimes there are parties on the beach. I'd personally reccomend hiring a private bungalow nearby and drinking at Easy Go. It's affordable and considerably better in my option. "
