Through quality services and activities, the QITABI 2 project, funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), supports the development of Lebanon's educational sector, systems, schools, and teachers to impact students' learning. QITABI 2 draws on the achievements of the successful 5-year Quality Instruction Towards Access and Basic Education Improvement (QITABI) to support building the Lebanese education system's institutional capacity for sustainability and self-reliance.QITABI 2 aims to (1) improve student performance in reading, writing, and math, (2) enhance students' Social Emotional Learning (SEL) skills, and (3) improve the national-level service delivery of education. QITABI 2 implements its activities in collaboration with the Ministry of Education and Higher Education (MEHE) and the Center for Educational Research and Development (CRDP). In a systematic collaborative approach, the project provides quality services that impact around 884 public schools, 10,000 teachers, and 338,000 students (grades 1 to 6) across all regions in Lebanon, including rural areas and disadvantaged communities.QITABI 2 is managed by World Learning in partnership with leading international and local development agencies, including Ana Aqra, ALLC, IRC, and MSI.
