Sri lanka Red Cross Society Matale branch is one of the leading and Pioneer branches of SLRCS in delivering multiple humanitarian services in the Matale District in the vision of "Safer and Resilient Communities live in peace & harmony". And our overall goal is to have wider community reach out through efficient ,effective,high quality ,transperant and accountable service delivery mechanism with enhanced image and self sustained by following key principles of the Rec Cross Movement.
Currently the branch is having 04 active RC divisions ( Matale , Rattota, Dambulla & Galewela) consist of over 500 membership. In addition Matale branch has 09 active youth circles and 15 school circles with over 225 membership by 2015.
