店名 「日本ばし」は、歴史ある日本橋に敬意を込め、そして和食の持つ繊細な感覚を大事にするという高い志のもと名付けられました。
スリランカ人の父、日本人の母を持つシェフ ダルシャン・ムニダサが1995年にオープンした本格的な和食レストランであり、日本料理の魅力、奥深さそして日本文化をスリランカの地に発信しています。
コロンボという都会にありながらも、落ち着いた空間がゲストをもてなします。8つあるプライベートルームはそれぞれテーマによってデザインされ掘りごたつのある座敷も完備しています。竹をあしらった庭園・YAKITORI GARDENでは炭火の焼き鳥を楽しむことができます。
スリランカの新鮮な食材と日本料理の伝統が組み合わされた料理は「日本ばし」の誇りでもあります。
