Want to take part in making Sri Lanka a better place to live, work, learn, play and give?

The Youth Voice is a platform for the youth to celebrate their entering to society in a more effective manner. As to the normal procedure of the life we learn and find a living and face the life there after. But what we expect is to give youth another direction. Just afterschool or even while still in school youth voice wants you to join in hand to make the society a better place. It is a seed we wish to develop among youth from their early days to be a responsible citizen. Hence the youth members can start their lives as a voice from age of 15 and can be a member till 35. After 35 he/ she will become an honorable member in the Organization.
This is a Non-Governmental Organization. It works towards the betterment of the society by perusing on the vision and mission of Youth Voice. The directions are clear and no deviation from the main objectives would be entertained. The funds would be raised by two means. The projects will be executed to generate funds and donor funds.
Our existence is solely for the youth. It does not have boundaries. Educated or uneducated, rich or poor, whatever the religion, whatever the ethnicity, wherever resides make no difference. But our policy is to address the most needed. Start from the grass root of the society and step by step upgrade as whole. Hence as a Sri Lankan based organization our beginning marks from the grass root of the Sri Lankan Society.
With the so-called globalization we tend to believe our local youth is updated and developed in all areas, which is not true. In the Sri Lankan context one part of the youth is scattered and aiming high individually for their own gains. They have lost to the knowledge, that they are part of this society. As a result a human is molded only with the brain, who pursue on his/her own gain and end up as an unsatisfied adult, who ran a rat race. The other part is united, but have got discriminated and wasting their youth by becoming loafers. The tendency is such for them to become a heavy burden to the society. Our plant form is to bring those two parties together to make their own lives better. In other words, youth for youth for their own upgrading.We would like to emphasis on the fact that, the today’s youth is tomorrow’s adults.
We have a long way to go, Youth Voice wants to make that journey a reality and speedy as much as possible.
