" At first, the resort looks too quite and exclusive but once you come to the main area, you’ll definitely feel the good positive vibes of the place. Beautiful garden with different exotic plants. Butterflies and other cute little animals you’ll see around (I had fun taking photos of them)
Easy to socialize with the other guest (thanks to their long table! ) ☺️the staffs are very hospitable and they’ll treat you like their family.
Rooms are nicely done, high quality materials used. They’ll make little improvement next season and promoting Eco-friendly living.
And of course, the best thing about this place is the Food!!!!
It’s all worth it! "

Kappalady Kitegarden is a pleasant surprise. There is no front desk, just a lovely restaurant, where we had breakfast , lunch and dinner. Complimentary coffee and tea, available through out the day. Food was great.
This is a small property, so it is really private and quite. I can throw in all the superlatives about the rooms ~ large, high ceiling, lovely interior ~ but what impressed me the most was the excellent service, the best we've come across so far. The staff are very attentive and does well in anticipating everything, and I mean everything, you might need!
We were a group of kite boarders... Staying at Kappalady Kitegarden is like having your own private resort. You can make any request, as long as reasonable and possible, and they will gladly do it for you. If you want a cozy private retreat, great food and excellent service, then this is definitely worth a try.

" Stayed at the Kite-garden in May 2013 when it was just opening, it is in a great location for the small lagoon which does not get as crowded as the big lagoon. I stayed in the upstairs double room which was very well presented to European standards, comfortable bed, good shower, very light and airy room with a balcony and view of the whole kite-garden.The Food was a great mix of local and European dishes cooked fresh by the staff.
I think this place has definitely captured the spirit of this part of Sri Lanka, It fits in well with the very simple surroundings of the local village and local people who are very welcoming and pleased to see new faces. "

" Very comfortable place. Rooms are clean, neat and good looking. The service is perfect. We had meal three times a day, everything was fresh and delicious. Our wishes about a food were taken into account. More than enough for such price. Very friendly personel.
