Camp Téru – Yala, is located on the Kirinda, Yala road close to the Palatupana salterns and is laid out on a sprawling landscape of typical Yala vegetation. Whilst every effort has been made to blend in with Nature and welcome all our wild friends, safety of our guests has been considered and the premises is surrounded by an electric fence. Eco living, with solar lighting and open airy, sleeping and lounging areas have been designed to keep our guests in tune with the environment and wildlife they’ve come to enjoy. The Camp comes fully serviced with inhouse staff inclusive of cooks and cleaners, accommodating upto 16 adults comfortably on beds consisting of a 13 bed dormitory and common washroom block, together with a chalet for 2 persons with it’s own individual wash room. A large common dining area with open to sky deck for lounging and stargazing , the site is kept cool throughout the day and night with the strong breeze from the Sea which is a few hundred meters away. The garden sprawls on 3.5 acres of land and is abounding with a menagerie of bird life which you generally tend to miss even when doing the park rounds. The Camp is suited for the Nature Lover and the outdoor person, with the required comforts to feel at ease whilst enjoying all it’s splendor.
