" Kahanda Kanda was amazing place to stay. The location is beautiful, overlooking Koggala Lake. What really made staying here above and beyond anywhere else was the attention to detail and the EXTREMELY helpful and accommodating staff. They were able to book excursions for whale watching in Mirissa, touring Galle Fort, and a boat tour of Koggala Lake. All of the food was spectacular and the views from the restaurant were some of the best on the whole property. Highly recommend. "

Kahanda Kanda has amazing connections for excursions during the day. The food was also spectacular. It is by far the most romantic place I have ever been. It really comes down to the attention to detail that takes place here. Just perfection. "

The staff team are lovely and everything from the detail around how the rooms are made up (we had a different flower arrangement and styling on our bed each day), the beautiful food and the setting, pools and views make it a perfect dream wedding spot. " This hotel was designed with skill and loving care. The grounds are interesting (including tea bushes) and a lovely pool. The friendly giant dog's playfulness is a nice contrast to the rather formal interior of the bedrooms. The bathroom with the outdoor shower and plants is a nice touch. Breakfast was good, but we didn't try dinner.The main problem is the 45 min. drive to town if you want to sight see, shop or have dinner in Galle. Hopefully they fix some of the bigger potholes.
