BRIEF HISTORY OF AWAKE IN CHRIST INTERNATIONAL INC.

What is today known as the Awake in Christ International Inc. began as a prayer band in our sitting room predicated upon revelation given to us by the Lord to reach out to the lost souls in and out of Liberia. This church is an indigenous Church planting ministry and a charitable institution under the incorporation article of the Republic of Liberia, West Africa established on 18 March 2007 to fulfill these visions and purposes that the Lord mandated us to perform. Three Years later, the founder of the church established another branch.

1.) To seek to advance the ministry of Jesus Christ as described in Matthew28:18-20; 25:31-40

a.) Training ministries of the Gospel

b.) Building Churches

c.) Evangelizing to the lost souls at all costs to save them

d.) Meeting the holistic needs of humankind especially those caught up in conflict as war victims

2.) To seek to raise and maintain a high standard of education in Liberia, Africa and the world

a.) Establishing and operating academic and theological institutions

b.) Establishing and operating of vocational and higher institutions
