The West Africa ICT Action Network is a multi-stakeholder platform for people and institutions interested and involved in Internet Governance, ICT Action and regulation.Is a network of civil society, academia and ICT think tank.The network aims to act as a facilitator in reforms in the ICT sector in West Africa leading to a sub-regional, national ICT advancement and development. We intend to work as a network working to enable everyone, everywhere to access the life-changing power of the Internet. This will ensure academic engagement and discussion on the state of the Internet, internet policies and regulatory efforts in West Africa. WAICTAnet undertakes policy research on Accessibility and Inclusion, Access to Knowledge, Internet Governance and Telecom, and academic research on Digital Natives and Digital Humanities in West Africa.
