TAJARROD is an Architecture and Art foundation that seeks to establish a critical and analytical movement which challenges the dominating status quo of the Architecture and Art scene in Libya, and asks questions about the possibilities and potentials of the city of today and its ability to absorb tragedies, tension, reinvention and change. And that is by conceiving architecture as a cultural project based on theory, research and experimentation, to drift away from commercialism and the traditional office practice and the cornering of the market. and by providing the right atmososphere for yonug architects/artists and students to re-think and expand their field of knowledge such as collective design studios and curating exhibitions, competitions and public discussions
