The University of Arts and Humanities of Bamako is a Public Institution of a Scientific, Technological and Cultural Character , placed under the supervision of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research of the Republic of Mali.It came out of the split of the former University of Bamako, which existed as the only university in Mali from 1996 to 2010.The ULSHB is created by Order No. 2011-019/PRM of 28 September 2011. Decree No. 2011-736/PRM of 03 November 2011 sets out its organization and operating procedures.Its mission is to contribute to higher education and conduct research for development.Its vision is to rehabilitate the university system and establish a knowledge and knowledge society.
