Eland group had an opening ceremony yesterday, November 14th, 2017. The event was filled with full of excitement and appreciation. Our special guests, Mr. Glenn Muna, the Acting Commissioner of PSS, Mr. Ray Masga, the Acting Administrator of BECQ, Ms. Janice Tenorio, the Vice Chairwoman of BOE, Ms. Roberta, the Executive Director of MINA, and each school’s faculty and students enlightened the event by their presence.
Our student m...embers shared their annual project and our special guests gave them inspiring messages. The monthly activity fund was delivered to all individual clubs at the event. We hope that all members of E.land Environmental Youth Alliance will actively participate in the environmental conservation projects to benefit the community of CNMI.

Hafa Adai, we have exciting news about our Second Eland Environmental Youth Alliance! Eland Environmental Youth Alliance is a program which encourages youths in CNMI to initiate and practice environmental conservation activities. It has its own three objectives which are, preserving the environment in CNMI, developing youths of CNMI to a global leader, and promoting the social awareness of the importance of preserving nature.
E...land group grants funds and resources that are needed in preceding each club’s environmental preserving activities. We also have monthly plans of our own environmental preserving activities and activities to raise awareness of the importance of environmental conservation. The schools need to go through a document and interview evaluation process to be a member of Eland Environmental Youth Alliance.
We are now waiting for schools to submit their applications. It is due on 19th of October, by 12:00 pm. We are very excited to here from schools about their project on environment conservation!
Below photos are from Teachers Orientation that was held on last Thursday, the 13th of October. Introduction of Eland CSR, introduction of this program, and the process of applying to the program was introduced at the orientation.
