Both of our doctors are also Certified Diabetes Educators, they have expertise in diabetes not available in other eye clinics in our region. We have the latest technology. Our newest addition the Eidon AF scanner is not available elsewhere in Micronesia. The Eidon AF allows more detailed imaging of the retina for improved treatment planning. Both of our doctors are Board Certified by the American Board fo Optometry. When surgery is required, Dr. Peter Lombard from Guam comes to our office. Dr. Lombard is a Board Certified Ophthalmologist, who received his medical training from the top program in the U.S., Johns Hopkins. He does laser surgery and intravitreal surgical treatment for diabetic retinopathy. When more advanced treatment is required, we work with the retinal specialists who travel to Guam.In Addition to our passion for fighting diabetes, we LOVE kids. We have new treatments for myopia (nearsightedness) control. These treatment protocols are based on large clinical trials. We are offering the same treatments available at the largest eyecare centers in the United States. We have a very large selection of frames as well as specialty lenses for full eye protection.We treat painful eyes and infections especially pink eye every day. We had the first certified opticians in Micronesian history staring in 2008. Our head optician Eric Mahinay, is one of only 100 opticians in the world to be certified at the advanced level.
