In life, one searches for a career that is meaningful and fulfilling. I can now confidently say that I achieved that. Helping first time home buyers, families that are expanding/ downsizing or someone that has lived a long life and now is ready to retrace their childhood and move back to where they grew up all provide me a sense of accomplishment. I understand the sacrifices they made to purchase the home of their dreams and knowing I was a part of that decision is the greatest feeling.

Throughout the path that led me into a career of real estate, I managed and owned various businesses. My first employment was as a carpenter, this provided me with the skills in understanding the logistics of filling an empty place with different kind of furniture. The following year, I moved to New York City, New York where I started my first small business in the carpet industry. Seeing an immense amount of different properties taught me how to value property by comparing different apartments & homes according to size, style and location. During a brief return to Malta, I managed the Avis office in Gozo. I then returned to New York, where I undertook the largest step in understanding Real Estate, I started my own construction company, SFS General Contracting, Inc. The experience of owning a construction company provided me with skills to transform an empty shell into a dream home where people could spend the rest of their lives. Owning a construction company in New York City, where space is limited, modifing and reshaping a structure by extending a room to fit one's needs was a necessity. I also gained knowledge in certain materials needed in order to strengthen and aesthetically please the eye. Where other’s see an empty room or an old run down property, my experience has provided me with further insight, knowledge and understanding. This helps me recognize potential and value in a property that others might dismiss.

Thankfully, now I can bring forward all these different attributes together to confidently help guide my clients in making sound, informed decisions and ultimately find the home of their dreams.
