" From arrival to departure this hotel and it's staff were brilliant!!
We were there for a class3 cyclone and the calmness and professionalism of the staff was superb. Whilst the cyclone was on we had reduced dining facilities, but the food and service where still excellent.
Special mention to the reception staff Hena, Kritika, Katvia, Stephanie and Ashleyka. Always smiling, courteous, asking are we happy and can they be of any help. Porters, Abhisek and Kishen, who would not let us carry a bag and were always asking can they help with anything. Neeta's omlettes at breakfast were the best. Vimla, Daniella and Christian always cheerful, even when rushed of their feet and forever helpful.
The cleanliness throughout the hotel, even during the cyclone was impeccable.
House keeping came and went without fuss and the room was kept clean constantly.
I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone, mainly because of the brilliant staff. "

I just came back from a week stay at your hotel and want to express my dissappointment at what happened during my stay at this hotel
I lost my Ruby diamond wedding band and a watch when we as a couple went to the Spa and sauna. The manager of the hotel came to my room to ask questions about the lost and i explained about it with three other managers they then proceed to go through my hand bag and my lugggaged and this was after i have gone through all my luggage and did not find it upon his going through it disscovered it i was shocked because i know i looked every place i could
looking at my ring at the airport departing i disscovered that my ring was damage someone tried to cut through my ring damaging it
NEVER EVER WILL I GO BACK TO YOUR HOTEL AND WILL TAKE MY RING TO THE JEWELERS TO ASSIST ME ON THIS

" It was absolutely great, the service is impecable and the staff is very professional. The place it self...has alot of elegance....and is very comfortable....the food is delicious and is worth your money. This hotel is children friendly and offers alotbof activities which families can do together, it allows onebto enjoy a nice holiday without overspending. The rooms is stunning and is are cosy and comfortable....the view from the rooms is even better.....there isbalotnof professionalism...between the staff and they do everything they can to make your stay perfect!!*.....ann as niice as possible "

" This hotel is absolutely awful in customer service. It is beautiful to look at and located on a gorgeous beach. However, the service is terrible. I thought that it would have been a perfect place to set up my civil wedding.
The hotel's staff initially responded to me but did not answer any of my questions. In the end, they completely ignored my queries by not responding to emails. They were the same in person as well. Very rude!
Overall, it is a gorgeous hotel but it can managed much better. There are much better options available for the same price. So I would recommend that you find yourself a better hotel. "

" Booking this hotel ruined half the fun of our Mauritius trip. I will describe my experience with this hotel below.
We were family, 3 adults and one 12 year old child. We did the hotel booking through agoda. During booking we gave the data as 3 adults and 1 child in one room, but somehow when the voucher came it was shown just 3 adults. We noticed this 2 days prior to our stay in Maritim. As soon as we noticed, we mailed agoda regarding this, but unfortunately they didn't respond to our mail.
We reached the hotel, they noticed that we were 4 people, we told our experience with agoda. They called their duty manager or something. That guy heard our problem and took advantage of our situation.
He told the hotel doesn't allow 4 people in a room even with extra bed, we said we will pay extra for the food of the fourth person or even another extra bed. He didn't compromise, he said we have to take another room which would cost around 700 euros. He left saying this and told we shall call him once we have finalised.
We sat and thought of calling agoda, but we needed time for coordinating with agoda. Hence we decided we would ask the manager a request, We told him we will book the additional room for one night (we were staying 4 nights), that night we would talk with agoda people and then if agoda doesn't respond positively the next day we would book the additional room for rest of the nights.
Here is where I think the manager guy took advantage of us. He told us if any other reservation comes, he will have to book that room. I don't think the hotel was fully booked during that time. Maybe even if a reservation comes he could've told us early and made us book the room. I felt he was forcefully making us book that room. So I hope this helps future travellers to be careful in this thing especially with Maritim.
Apart from this experience the hotel was perfect and fun. "
