Chikulu, meaning salty, is a vast land of untouch wilderness. Trees of great age and girth give shade and security for birds of great varierty. We have a baobab estimated to be around 2000 years old growing on a rock!
We use solar power to run the lodge which has two Chalets that have king-sized beds and gorgeous out-door showers which allow you to gaze up into the magnificent African night sky or watch as the birds start to wake up and begin their busy day.
We offer a wide range of activities, from guided walks and picnics to catch and release fishing. We do a transfer from Norman Carr Cottage on Bonnie Alfie.
Our campsite for overlanders looks out onto the lake and has a running toilet and hot water.
Ideal for those who need a break from cellphones and internet, this is a place where you can re-discover the beauty of nature.
