MIZU FOUNDATION is a non-profit organisation aimed at raising money through different events for charitable youth causes. The Cape Maclear Triathlon is one of these events.
Set in the beautiful shores of Lake Malawi within a national park and a world heritage site, the triathlon promises to offer athletes and families a chance to enjoy the spectacular sun-kissed beaches, a warm sub-tropical climate as well as the friendly warm heart of the local inhabitants.
The triathlon starts with a 700-m swim, followed by an undulating 18-km cycle through the hills of the national park and finally the 4.5-km run through the village and the park to finish off.
The triathlon is sure to provide loads of excitement in a beautiful location to both participants and inhabitants.
