Muddi Sacco is governed by the cooperatives Act number 36 of 1998, Mudi SACCO is mandated to mobilise savings from its members in form of shares and deposits. The SACCO can also provide credit facilities to its members in any form whether cash or material. Mudi SACCO can borrow money from any other financial institution legally registered by the Malawi government or receive grants and or trust funds from other organisations .
The Sacco has three branches Kasinthula Branch in Chikhwawa, Kanengo Branch in Lilongwe and Zomba blanch in Malawi Postal Corporation House
