" The ranch is a magical place to rest your body and mind. The staff is friendly and incredibly skilled. Most have been at the ranch for greater than 10 years and their talent shows. The food is delicious and the hikes are the perfect start to every day. "

" Among all the glowing reviews, you should consider this actual experience . Among the splendor of Rancho La Puerta is a dark secret. They employ questionable male staff members that I would call predators. They are known to make bets with each other on which ones will bed which female guests as they enter the resort. They gawk and follow you around. One entered my room and forced himself on me. When I brought this to the attention of management I received a call from their lawyer. Trip advisor will not post this review. If you do choose to go, watch out and if you receive any unwanted advancements report it immediately.
I understand my experience was not the only assault they have had. They go unreported.
My friends want to go back but I'll never step foot there again. You are in Mexico and on your own. "

" I just returned from a week at the Ranch - a long anticipated "Bucket List" experience for me. I had great expectations and can truthfully say I was not disappointed on any level. This past year has been a year of recovery for me - 12 months of rest, exercise and strengthening from brain surgery in June of 2015. I am healthier than I have ever been and grateful beyond measure for a second chance. The staff, the instructors, the spa personnel and the endless - yet healthy, organic food was beyond measure. This morning, when working out with my trainer here in San Diego, I could tell the difference that just one week made. I am going back for sure next year and every year after. I am 65 years old and know that I was saved for a purpose. Treat your self. . .

" All inclusive health spa resort. They offer about 50 classes, activities, talks, and entertainments every day. I first visited 6 months ago with a friend, I fell in love with the place I just went back again last month. What makes the place stand out is its staff, they are super nice, accommodating, and one can feel very comfortable here. They provide spa/healthy food, which means a lot of vegetables and fish without much fat or processed food, but they manage to infuse a lot of flavor into their dishes. No red meat and poultry served, but I didn't miss them.
I'm already planning to go back soon. "
