滋味,上天赐给我们最好的礼物。从呱呱坠地的那一天起,奶水滋润了我们,这滋味不仅提供了我们成长所需的养份,同时也表明了母亲伟大的爱。你还记得第一次食用婴儿食品,米粥,米饭,蔬菜,水果,面包,肉类,海产,第一碗热腾腾的生日面线糊,第一桌团圆饭,第一份情人节晚餐,还是妈妈第一次亲手烘焙的蛋糕。。。这些都是滋味为我们编写的生活记忆,给了我们根源,同时也给了我们不断往前成长的能量。

这生命的循环不停的进行着;我们是如何被照料长大,如今,我们也如何照料下一代长大。纵然我们都离开了家乡,往大城市迁移,不变的还是陪着我们成长的种种滋味,还有那份坚定的爱。环境不停的变换中,尤其是都市的繁华加快了我们生活的脚步,往往其中牺牲的,也许将是最珍贵家人同桌的一餐。

郭子仁师傅于2013年,放下10年饮食出版社食谱顾问一职,往理想继续前进。在任期间,时常被问及能在短时间内上桌的菜肴食谱;要如何煮才最有味道也同时兼顾健康?;少油,少盐,少糖但依然美味的菜肴;如何变化千篇一律的食材,让家人对晚餐有所期待。。。等等的询问说明了妈咪们求好心切,也想藉着滋味的力量,为家人留下美好的生活记忆。借此,郭师傅于2014年成立 ALANKOK TASTE,目标在于与大家分享滋味的美好,同时用心制作系列食品,并设下目标,大大提升大家的下厨效率,达成在三十分钟内完成三菜一汤的使命!

Of all the blessed gifts humans are born with taste has to be among the most wonderful. Everyone’s first step into the world began with the taste of life giving milk. Its flavour helped people to grow, and was a sign of motherly love. Do you still have memories of the food you had as an infant? Maybe you can recall the sensation the first time a certain food hit your tongue like: the lumpiness of porridge, or the crispy delight of a vegetable, or the deliciousness of a well spiced seafood dish. It’s an amazing experience. And meeting these tastes again it can conjure up memories of the first Valentine’s Day, the first birthday cake, or even the first cake baked by mum. All of these memories are coloured by the tastes people experience; it tells a story of one’s origin and the root of one’s identity which gives people the spirit to continue growing.

The world is changing rapidly, especially in a bustling city one has to move quicker to keep up which sadly sacrifices the time for families to gather together and have a meal. Moreover, in search of a better life people change or have been taken far away from their place of birth, but the one thing that will always remain is the taste of the meals they loved and grew up with. How people are fed, and how they feed the next generation forms the never-ending story of life. So, it is a challenge to preserve the joy and memories of having a good meal.

Chef Alan Kok after 10 years of dedicated service as a recipe consultant to an F&B publication left the company to move forward with a new direction. Back in his organization he was often asked questions on quick-n-easy to prepare recipes. Readers were desperate to know from him how to balance good taste and health while cooking? How to use less oil, salt, and sugar yet still retain the deliciousness of a dish? How to surprise the family with a simple ingredient? These enquires gave chef Alan insight into what the average home cook cared about, which gave birth to Alan’s brand, ALANKOK TASTE in 2014. His objective is to share the wonders of flavour, and producing series of cooking products, like sauces and condiments that will help in the kitchen to achieve the goal of 3 dishes and 1 soup serving in 30 minutes.
