" Beautiful original ethnic pieces!
I knew this would be a museum and shop, but did not know that it would be sooo nice. It is not very large but I spent several hours here watching the unique pieces and talking to the lovely owner, collector, Indiana Jones of today - Leonard Yiu. He is so nice, and happy to tell the story of the different pieces. There are all sorts of magical trinkets, shaman stafs, protective neck pieces, face masks, carved sculls, beautiful fabrics and more.
About half of the stuff is for sale and half belongs to Mr Yiu's private collection/museum. There is no entrance fee, and I was not allowed to give him any money even after taking up so much of his time. So if you're on a budget, don't worry.
If you like this kind of stuff I strongly recommend going!
Mr Yiu also has an other place called art house gallery, with mainly Chinese collections at the second floor of Wisma cosway. I have yet to go there!

" If you have very limited time in KL and you can only pick a few places to visit, The Art House Gallery is definitely one of the place you should not miss. It is the first privately owned mini-museum in KL combining both modern and ethnic arts. You can find many beautiful priceless art pieces collected by the owner Leonard Yiu spending many years of effort walking through hidden places and primitive tribes of South East Asia. Even you might not be an "art person" you will find it to be the most pleasurable activities especially in the hot afternoon! Be there! "
