Interior could be better, homey feel. I found there a very noisy machine like sound, not the coffee machine, some other sound which very annoying for a cafe. Could have all the chairs with back rest, since the place never really pack. It is pricey for that location and quality .
Service could be better, they serve you, even ask if you want to refill the hot water, just they never smile.
So much huha online, just find it too overrated, if it's not bout all those praise and the pricing, it would have been 4*
Food, I had 2 dessert, both is not that sweet which is good and bad. It some how looks like a dessert but don't taste like a dessert. The salted egg waffle, waffle is fluffy, pop corn... Tgv wins hand down, salted egg sauce, somehow any dim sum with the salted custard bun have more flavour than it. Ice cream too taste mild.
The strawberry shortcake, nice amount of strawberry and nice fresh milk creme. Just it really taste not fresh. Another thing, for me patisserie always make the dessert looks fantastic, Zest is bit boring and lazy. They have most cake in small block shape, and some pie. The Zest logo on the cake, not any edible, just a paper.
The famous Harney & sons tea... Other than the brand, it's just a luxury flavour tea, those that like the flower tea should enjoy.
