" A reasonably cheap hotel which provides value for money. This hotel website claims that their bathrooms come with a heated showers. Their technical maintenance is not of a high standard and therefore not all the heated showers are in working order. Furthermore the bedside lamps were not in working order for most rooms. We complained to the front office but their service technician could not solve the problems. "

" My belief is you get what you pay for. My queen room was RM115 nett. While there wasn't hot water and it's a small room, the distance to the firefly (RM15 for adults, RM10 for kids) & eagle feeding (RM25 for adults, RM15 for kids) jetty is just 1 minute away on foot!
There is a 7-Eleven within walking distance and a seafood restaurant. Food at the in-house restaurant is reasonably priced.
At night, the noise from the neighbouring karaoke can be quite disturbing. If you can, ask for a room in Block 1 which is further away. "

" Places to go and do around hotel are 7-eleven store, river tour, seafood restaurants, karaoke and disco. Nearest shopping (Tesco, giant and small shops) will need a 5mins drive out. Nighttime infested with mosquitoes due to location very near to river side. Hotel not as picturesque and quite run down. Water heater was down during my 4 night stay. Breakfast only served around 10am, not much of variety to choose and served watered down coffee. Unless you don't mind a rustic run down laid back feel, then this hotel is prefect. Only reception lobby have Wi-Fi but that too is laggy. The staffs are friendly but need to be more attentive to the guests needs. There is a common iron board and run down iron at 2 floor lift lobby. Flooring carpet need to change. "
