At i-Play Park DD, we are constantly brewing up something new and exciting. From little explorers to cool teens to adults, we have spaces for people of all ages.

i-Play Park Damansara Damai is a community and PJ Kita initiative to make Damansara Damai (DD) a child-friendly community. One of the initiatives that have been made to ensure i-Play Park DD become reality is the redesign and redevelopment of Urban Park 1 by DD children. Urban Park 1 which has been renamed as i-Play Park DD is among 4 parks located in DD.
Our intention in developing i-Play Park DD is to create a meaningful learning environment based on play and happiness. With the size of 12 acres, the DD children will meet during the monthly Town Hall to discuss the design and ultimately transform the park into an outdoor classroom that is powered by green technology.

Iplay Park Komuniti Damai Anak Anak Ceria
1. Malaysia Social Enterprise Development Association atau dikenali sebagai MSeDA berbesar hati untuk menjemput rakan korperat @ pihak swasta, agensi kerajaan, orang awam untuk bersama sama merealisasikan inisiatif pembangunan Iplay Park di Damansara Damai.
2. Sebagai sebuah entiti yang memperjuangan keusahawanan sosial di Malaysia, MSeDA menyokong dan berusaha sedaya upaya dalam membantu golongan muda khususnya generasi Z untuk menco...rakkan pembangunan sosial mereka melalui pendekatan yang berkonsepkan inovasi dan kreativiti.
3. Untuk makluman rakan-rakan, idea rekaan awal Iplay Park ini merupakan ilham asal daripada anak-anak komuniti setempat dengan mengaplikasikan komunikasi visual sambil dibimbing oleh beberapa pakar luar di pelbagai lapangan.
4. Usaha ini bukan dinilai sehari dua. Usaha ini berpanjangan. Tidak mustahil lebih ramai generasi kita akan datang akan menjadi seperti Sinan (Sinanuddin Yusuf bin Abdullah), Frank Lloyd Wright, Louis Sullivan dan lain-lain
5. Kami menjemput penglibatan daripada badan korperat, agensi kerajaan dan orang awam melalui sumbangan dana, kolaborasi bersama dan rakan sukarelawan.

URBAN Park 1 in the Damansara Damai PJU 10 area is undergoing rejuvenation under a new partnership programme between the Petaling Jaya City Council (MBPJ), developers and citizen groups.
Aside from being a part of the “Smart Partnership Programme Damai Community Anak Anak Ceria”, the park is also part of MBPJ’s new “iPlay Park Project” under the “PJ Kita” initiative.
MBPJ signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Medan Prestasi Sdn Bhd, a subsidiary of developer MK Land; Kole...j Perkembangan Awal Kanak-Kanak (KPAKK); Malaysia Social Enterprise Development Association (MSeDA); and the local residents’ representative council.
Urban Park 1, which has been around for about 18 years and measures 12ha in area, represents the first of such themed PJ Kita community parks to be built around Petaling Jaya, and is also a community engagement project, according to mayor Mohd Azizi Mohd Zain.
“We need to start teaching our children to care for the environment while they are young and this project will help instil positive values in them.
“Each of the project partner will contribute not just financially but also in other ways,” said Mohd Azizi.
MK Land founder Tan Sri Dr Mustapha Kamal Abu Bakar has pledged RM100,000 to the project’s funding.
SMK Damansara Damai 1 student Hasya Sufiah Danisyah Omar Dani, 16, is one of several local children involved in the community project to rejuvenate Urban Park 1.
“This project tests our creativity, but we, as young children, can turn this forest park into a magical playground,” Hasya said, adding that she had lived there for 10 years, but had never ventured into the park.
Idaman Apartments Residents Association secretary Mohd Ikhshan Mohd Din praised the effort, as the park’s rejuvenation meant there would be less criminal elements in Damansara Damai.
The park is scheduled to be officially launched in November next year, according to MSeDA president Mohd Zaid Mohd Sharif.
KPAKK chief executive officer Farah Mahami Mustapha Kamal said those in Damansara Damai’s three schools were looking forward to utilising Urban Park 1, once rejuvenated, as an outdoor classroom.
The idea for these themed urban parks in the iPlay Park project, Mohd Azizi explained, came from studying community engagement initiatives in Petaling Jaya’s sister city of Bandung, Indonesia.
The next iPlay Park will be built in PJS 2.
