" This is one of the best government hospital...but still lots of improvement needed especially on the parkings and the flow of the patients to meet with the doctors. There's initiative by this hospital using some other alternative on limited parking space using the free shuttle van but I think they should cover more areas for the free shuttle van to some train station nearby too. " It's a full fledged government hospital and first to operate with paperless. Very well equipped with clinics for specialist, general physician, out patient department, day care and etc. The clinics are always packed with patients in the morning but will eventually systematically taken care off. "

" They are the center for Hepatobiliary cases due to having a specialist here. The rehab room is very spacious. Emergency ward is jam packed peak hours, it is suggested to come here very early or very late. Parking is a nightmare, to be safe, park a cross the road at Summit Square.
One nice thing about hospital selayang is the food at the cafe downstairs is good and there's a lot of variety. "

" The only MAJOR problem is with the parking. Previous was ok when parking were sharing bases on 1st come 1st serve. BUT nowdays MORE parking were allocated for STAFF and LESS parking space for PATIENT.
Staff = Good, healthy, salary paid person
Patient = Sick, ill, OKU, TAX payer person
So who should have the priority for the parking??? "

" Parking is definitely an issue but over the years they have found alternatives. They allow people to double park without using their handbrake so that they can push the car away when someone wants to leave. They should definitely build a multi-storey carpark but that will also attract more people to come to this hospital and it would be more congested, lines will be longer and such.
The doctors are professional and thorough. "

" Yes, the parking place is an issue, the service is a little slow, the crowd is big but again, this is a government hospital and I am happy + proud with their services and dedication. And yes, there are hiccups here and there. My time of waiting can range from 20 minutes to 2 hours. But my family and I get treated professionally - and the specialists are very professional.
If anyone needs a better personal service, and you have money, just go to a private clinic or private hospital. Or if any of you ever stayed in United States, you don't get this kind of free treatment easily.
Be thankful of what you have now. "

" from morning 11.35am - 12.30am wait until like hell , let a old man waiting for almost 13hours !! after 8 hour we wait we go ask the counter nurse, when ask them there said awhile doctor is coming after 2 hour ask again there said the same coming, after that 4hour later come a malay girls she said, she is helper handle (Doctor KOK ) is go home after 5pm my turn to in charge. need to waiting a bed for up stair going to wad, got a extra bed in the zon but there also dont want give my father a bed to sleep take a rest, after withing for 12 hour in sitting at the chair! there said this zon bed is for Cretical cant sit only lying down to use! but what i see is in the bed got a fat lady sitting there without any creatical like there said, and got a another extra bed also! i ask for help my father is really cannot stand anymore after waiting so long time with only sitting at the chair cant sleep, he want to take a deep sleep only! if your bed later got a creatical patient coming we will return it back! THERE REPLY OK YOU WAIT I SEE.... WTH there want to see the room is got a only one extra bed that in frond him, after 30minute there just show the face like nothing! so i go and ask again because my father bet to go home can we came in morning later 7AM a'clock and the lady answer me cannot! but then how said all the bed in selayang hospital is full! the only one bed in frond me also cannot give to my father sleep! WHAT THE RIDICULOUS she ANSW me, you can go home now but then tomorrow even you come you have to take a new num and blood test and wait until like this timing time too... 13HOUR u wait....( I WAIT YOU ALL DIE CAN ???? " Bad service at emergency department. I was feeling dizzy past few days and wanted to visit doctor on the third day,I waited two hours but my name was still not call,not even call me to room one for checking blood pressure. The next day I went, I waited one and half hour then I was called to go in room one to check blood pressure. However,the nurse was so rude. I told her I was dizzy and she just answered loudly"ha!?"as in not clear or not understand. I think she shouldn't talked like this to a patient. Then she asked me to wait outside the room for the next calling, but it was still too slow. "
