STEPPS Opleiding en Zaken was established in 2006 in response to need for modern teaching skills and approaches and we have been involved in the design and development of generic open access and bespoke training for teachers and other education professionals in Nigeria. We have provided training to over 3000 people on topics that range from school management and leadership, teaching techniques and application of the Bloom's taxonomy, a central education principle, for promoting learning and to guide effective assessments and evaluations.STEPPS Consulting designs and delivers modern teaching tools and methodologies that combine theoretical knowledge and practical skill development. These tools allow teachers to plan and prepare effective lessons and to support students to become active learners while developing critical lifelong skills. Our training supports participants to make appropriate links between theory and practice and provides opportunity for practical hands-on experience with activities that allow application of learning.
