The Vice-chancellor Of Kano University Of Science And Technology, Wudil, Professor Shehu Alhaji Musa Has Inaugurated Two Committee On The Recent Students Unrest That Happened In The University As a Result of The Death Of Level 300 Biology student, Faruk Abubakar.

The Committees are-

(1) Investigation Headed By Dr. Abdulhadi Aminu Deputy Vice Chancellor Administration Is To Investigate Root causes, Damage made Recommendation etcetera

(2) Evaluation Headed By onetime Acting Vice Chancellor Of The University, Dr Muhammad Ibrahim Abdu Is charged With Evaluating Properties Destroyed, Extent Of Destruction, Cost Implications Etcetera.

While inaugurating The Committees, The Vice Chancellor Told The Members That They Were Appointed On Merit And Qualification.

Today Monday 30th April, 2018 the Vice Chancellor was honored by Arewa Students Forum. The Award (Grand Commander of Arewa Students- GCOAS) is in recognition of his immense contribution towards Societal Development, Human upliftment, Youth Development and Service to the Nation.

While thanking them for finding him worthy of the award, the VC challenge them to be dedicated to their studies as the country need them. He promised to assist anyone amongst them that makes first class or second upper in his/her final result.

He dedicated the award to both staff and students of Kano University of Science and Technology Wudil.

Farewell to Dr Raheem of University of Westminster by DVC Academics on behalf of the VC.

The Vice Chancellor KUST Wudil welcomed Dr Raheem to KUST Campus. He will deliver a lecture today Thursday 19th April, 2018 at the central research lab on PhD fellowship Staff exchange and collaboration between our University and University of Westminster.

Sakirou K Raheem is an Assistant Professor in Biological Chemistry and Biochemistry in the Faculty of Science and Technology at the University of Westminster (London) U.K. He received his Ph.D in Organic Chemistry from the... University of St. Andrews (Scotland) U.K following an MSc in Medical Microbiology from London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine (University of London), U.K. His Ph.D research was funded by Nestle (Lausanne, Switzerland), focused on the synthesis and metabolism of dicaffeoylquinic acid conjugates.
