As a bunch of friends whenever we got together our conversations inadvertently and uncontrollably turned towards the game of cricket. We realised this was happening far too often and this had to be captured in some way. The fact that we were forming our opinions fervently from the proverbial armchair, The Armchair Cricket Podcast had to be born.With us being self-proclaimed purists, our podcast primarily focusses on Test Cricket, the longer format of the game, with an affinity towards Indian cricket team. Because most of us live in the Netherlands we will also try and highlight the Dutch cricket scene. Additionally we will cover other main events such as ODI series, World Cup and where possible, Women's cricket as well. T20I's and T20 leagues will also get some attention but this will not be our priority.With time we will invite guest speakers and experts to our podcast to get their perspectives and opinions.
