Ban Batika Shankar nagar was formally inaugurated by the spokesman of constitution assembly Subas Nemwang on 12th Poush 2064 BS although its construction started in 2061 BS . It is within the area of Shankarnagar community forest (1-9) with the area of about 45-50 bighas of forest. Within Ban Batika Shankarnagar, there are garden, Ban Batika, office buildings, Myrtres’ Park, Puspalal Park, BP Park, picnic sport, zoo area etc .

Garden and Ban Batika

It has beautiful garden with various flowers, grassland, waterfall, model house, kinder garden, program stage, children Park etc.

Office area

There are two offices, a garden, a bath room, a toilet and some furniture.

Myrtre’s Memorial Park

This Park is constructed by young communist league, a sister organization of unified Maoist party. There are 3 small ponds, a family cottage, birds nest, sitting cottage etc. It is under construction.

Picnic spot

There are beautiful picnic spot in this area . People from various districts come to this picnic spot . This spot has big ground with some sheds. There is beautiful Ganesh temple made by Newa Pucha.

B.P. Batika

This is a beautiful garden which is under construction.

Zoo

Ban Batika Shankar nagar has a beautiful Zoo with boundary. There are some blue bulls, bear, chital, tortoise, guinea pig, rabbit, duck etc .
