" I was introduced to Begnas Royal Camp when I won a free stay at a Valentine’s Day event at Marcopolo Restaurant in Thamel, Nepal. I was intrigued because it was run by the same operation, and Marcopolo is well-known in Kathmandu. I was able to connect with their booking staff on the website quickly (you can also reserve a room at Marcopolo Restaurant), and they had me booked the next night. I visited with my partner, and we enjoyed it so much we stayed an extra night. The farm-to-table food was excellent (the staff was trained in Kathmandu) and the tent itself was so comfortable. It’s a hotel room in a glamping tent. Fascinating and so comfortable and luxurious feeling. The bathroom is really nice, and has hot water. The view of Begnas Lake is unbelievable. You are on a bluff looking over the lake. It was truly magical. There are really cool hiking trails, and some cool bars and cafes within walking distance (you MUST check out Tropic Lake Rest). I highly recommend coming here for a few days if you are ever visiting Pokhara. Begnas Lake is a hidden gem. So relaxing and unbelievable beautiful. "
