" Not a very nice place at all right now, wait 50 years or so untill they have turned it in to a memorial museum dedicated to remembering one of the most shameful periods in Australian history.. "

" If you're not invited to a country and nevertheless try it it is your own risk if they catch you and you're locked up. But they've food and drinks so what? Demonstrating for right they don't have and they never had! They have the rigght to return home on their own behalf and costs normally "

" its a detention centre for the P.O.S that break the law, cut the cue and illegally try to enter the sovereign nation of Australia. they are given FREE water, food, accommodation, safety, electricity and medical care at the cost of hard working, tax paying Australians. Despite this, many residence are butthurt that their criminal behaviour was not rewarded with a free $800,000 mansion and full citizenship for them and their 23 illiterate children and claim it is some kind of Nazi death camp, which of course it is not. " They are safe, sheltered, fed and looked after. So taxpayers like me, don't have to deal with a stronger economic beaureucracy. Still, they are not grateful with their living conditions. However they are not being killed by Islamic terrorists. "

" I must confess that when I first heard that migrants and refugees bound for Australia where being diverted to Nauru, I was a bit jealous. After all, Nauru seems like a right paradise compared to Australia: no Bogans, no Abos, plenty of guano to sniff and beautiful Oceanside views. However my experience here left something to be desired.

The first thing you notice upon arrival is the lack of space: this establishment is perpetually overbooked. Perhaps the guests keep coming for the white sandy beaches, but many of them stay because they're "being held against their will" or something. Totally unprofessional if you ask me. There isn't much in the way of food, water, educational opportunities, psychological support or medical care but they do have one thing: security, and lots of it! The guards aren't shy about the use of force, they really get in there with the whips and batons. One wonders what their goal is, though the result is clear: the complete and utter destruction of a person's human dignity.

When speaking to the other guests, you start to get a sense that unspeakable horrors are being perpetrated upon innocent people who never hurt anyone. You hear things like "please kill me, I cant take this anymore", "each day is a nightmare that won't end", and "I lost my faith in Allah because no God could allow a place such as this to exist" ect, ect. Marianne Evers, a veteran nurse at the facility, likened it to a concentration camp; which honestly put a damper over my whole evening.

So if you're looking for a hellish dystopian prison that serves as a reminder of the depths of human suffering that can be caused by the bigotry indifference of "civilized" people, Nauru is for you!

Oh and the egg salad sandwiches are acceptable. "

" my pen pal went to this place and said it was great. He also managed to win the lottery that day. for some reason it was the government that gave him the money though. Anyways smash that like button if you know the truth about FEMA camps

" Very good service. Really appreciate the complementary opportunity to whip the asylum seekers, which really added to the experience. All in all, I had a great time at the Centre. "

" Great place to mingle and sightsee. I particularly enjoyed watching the variety of monkeys. They were quite entertaining - one even managed to light his cage fire. "

" Had an amazing time there. The kids loved the activities, especially the waterboarding lessons. Was cool staying in those little tents they had, but the pizza guy got lost trying to deliver our order. Also, WiFi is limited, so be prepared to decimate your cell coverage. "

" Lovely staff. Great locals. Though I'm confused, is stitching your lips together a spiritual thing there? "
