About Simplicity Bereavement Services
Simplicity is owned and operated by the Murray family. Now fourth generation funeral directors, the Murray family have owned and operated funeral homes throughout New Zealand for over 40 years.
We have been serving the Hawkes Bay community since 2013 and we believe that we have something special. We are passionate about the responsibility we have for caring for loved ones passed, and looking after and guiding their families.
Helping families celebrate the lives of their loved ones has given us an opportunity to acknowledge the close community ties that New Zealanders share.

FUNERAL NOTICE:
Our dear dad Ronald Walter Archer passed away peacefully in his sleep this morning. 19.02.1932 - 22.07.2020.
He was 88 years young. He is survived by his 10 children, 58 grandchildren & 54 great grandchildren.
...His service will be held tomorrow 23.07.20, 11am, at the Flaxmere Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, followed by a private cremation.

...It is with great sadness that we advise the passing of Gilbert Dwight Abbott, loved son of the late Aperata Joy Abbott (nee Takerei) and Roland Guy Abbott.
Beloved husband of Tita Abbott (nee Walker), and brother of, Odelia and Rawiri Andrews, Marvin and Maria Abbott, Honor Abbott (deceased), Saun and Carrie Abbott, Avril Abbott, Oman and Angela Abbott.
Doting father of Joanna and Lisa Abbott Rivera, Dwight Abbott, Brian and Colleen Karaitiana. Treasured Papa and great grandfather of Ashleigh, Kyaz, Colby, Cassie, Aroha, Kalea, Brandie, Leo, Jessie and Jaia, Loved uncle of his many nieces and nephews.
We will cherish and hold on tight to the many laughs and memories that you have left us. You will always be in our hearts and we will look forward to the day when we can hug you once more.
Dwight will be lying at his home at 907 Wall Road, Hastings until tomorrow Sunday 12th July, we will have a service at his home at 11am and thereafter to his final resting place at Korongata (Bridge Pa) Urupa behind the Chapel.

...With profound sadness and everlasting joy, we announce the passing of our beloved mother, sister, grandmother, great and great - great grandmother, ANN CRAIG. She has left our earthly home and returned to her eternal home and her Heavenly Father.
While we mourn and grieve the loss of her unforgettable presence and loving spirit, we celebrate a rich, abundant life truly well lived by our angel mother. She touched the lives of thousands with a life time of service to family and those in our Hawkes Bay community.

ANN CRAIG will lay at rest Thursday, July 2, 2020, from 12 noon and all - day Friday, July 3, at TE ARANGA MARAE, Boston Crescent, Flaxmere, Hastings.
Final viewing at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 4, 2020, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter - day Saints Stake Centre, Bridge Pa, Korangata, Hastings.
Funeral Services for ANN CRAIG will follow immediately at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 4, 2020.

Anzac Day 2020 🥀 In honor of our soldiers who served New Zealand in the War - and are still serving. We, as a nation were encouraged to Stand At Dawn at the end of our driveways at 6am to remember in silence. As we are unable to gather nationwide to mark the anniversary, due to the restrictions in place in response to COVID-19.
...Although, there are other ways to remember and honor those who have served New Zealand, such as creating poppy's, baking Anzac biscuits, lighting a candle, playing "last post" from your device, watching an Anzac programme or learning something about the Anzac history etc.
In support of honor for our Anzac's, we would love to share pikitia from our team.
We would also love for you to share your experiences of Anzac Day.
