" The place is spectacular with the ambience and mood set well and blending in with the environment and the buildings of Port Chalmers as well. Clean and friendly, and amazing food, thoroughly enjoyed both the battered fish and chips and the salmon and monkfish fish cakes leave me wanting more. "

" Had heard good things about the Hotel being seafood. So we went 4 lunch & a was disappointed. The prices are not cheap especially when the seafood is overcooked. Be wary of ordering the prawns any which way. They were over cooked 2 buggery. Rubber would b a good word. My husband had a steak sandwich & was very happy. I will think twice before coming again. "
