" I had previously stayed here in 2002, and when I came back in 2008 was pleasently surprised to find new owners, who have obviously put a lot of work into making the units more tidy.
I stayed in Unit 15, which had big windows for lots of Dunedin sun. The bedding was of a high standard, and the room had a small Samsung LCD TV with a selection of Sky Channels (including movies & sport).
The kitchen was well equipped, with a microwave and even a little oven & hotplate... This was a nice surprise (though I didn't require it) as many small units don't have these.
The bathroom was pretty ordinary, but sufficent to a single traveller on a short stay. If you were having a longer trip to Dunedin, you might look at something more luxerious, but for a short visit the Garden Motel is a great place with friendly owners and a good location, not too far away from the inner-city but far enough out to minimise noise. "
