Jacksons Holiday Park
About Jacksons Holiday Park
Jackson's Holiday Park is the only camping park on the Great Alpine Highway 73 linking Christchurch on the East Coast with the diverse West Coast.
Set on fifteen acres of beautifully terraced land, sites (powered, non-powered and tent,) allow stunning views of the mighty Taramakau River, snow-capped mountains of the Southern Alps, waterfalls and of course their own stunning NZ native rain forest.
There are accommodation options to suit all budgets from cosy cabins and self-contained units to large camp sites. Unique to New Zealand is their innovative covered barns each with private bays, fresh water and power. Here you can park up and enjoy a panoramic window to take in the alpine & river views whilst keeping you dry or shaded from the unpredictable West Coast rain forest weather.
Camp facilities are outstanding and include, a modern self-catering kitchen, comfortable lounge and dining area with TV and log fire and beautifully appointed spacious heated bathrooms with free showers.
You can even visit their onsite pantry for camp basics or order fresh home-made bread, free range eggs or seasonal veg from their very own tunnel house!
Jackson's are extremely proud of their awards: Qualmark 5 Star, Enviro Gold, Ranker's Supreme Winner – Voted by Travellers like you, Lonely Planet “Superb Facilities, Exceptional & Stacks of Excellence”, Trip Advisor “Award of Excellence”, Reverse Group “Award for Innovation” 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015
