By the start of 2020, Wasteless World was getting ready to start building its first community-run recycling station in a small coastal town in Colombia. Unfortunately due to the worldwide Covid-19 pandemic, the project was put on hold. During the lockdown, our founder Tom was stranded on an island off the Caribbean coast of Panama known as Bocas Del Toro. This area not only needed a system like the one he had planned, but also has a community calling for change.
