" On our family vacation, my 48-year-old mom fell on their poolside stairs tearing multiple ligaments in her back. The tile used would never pass inspection in Europe or the United States. There are no handrails or no non-skid to prevent falls. My mom was airlifted off the island by the Panamanian military all the way to Panama City hospital. The resort didn't respond to any emails for a month! During that time, we learned that multiple people have been hurt in similar accidents at Red Frog Resort. They unsuccessfully tried to repair it the day after Mom fell, but they didn't prep the floor correctly and haven’t tried again since. They clearly have no priority for safety in their villas or restaurants all of which have this particular tile. Despite a lengthy recovery we are blessed Mom can walk.
Red Frog is bad news and all the beaches have been destroyed by the 12/2017 storm. All pics on their site are prior to storm! "

" Roads are very bad ( 80 percent gravel). Beach suffered heavy erosion from last hurricane. Very little to do but beach and pool. We booked 2 "excursions" this week through the resort. Took a 7$ taxi to Isle Colon and told we didn't have a reservation! Hung around dumpy little town for an hour and returned to resort ( for 7 $). Tomorrow we were supposed to go on chocolate tour but Jenna Lee didn't book that either! Now it is full!. Supposed to have a massage tomorrow ( booked 2 days ago ) but told we have no reservation!. Sunday they had a party and all the locals showed up and were grinding on each other at the pool , throwing trash on the beach and urinating on the trees! Why do they allow this ? Only two restaurants and the food is " OK". The villas are beautiful!. Most have a partial ocean view. The villa was the most beautiful prison ! "

" My second experience and it was extremely disappointing. Yes, the nature is absolutely amazing, but there's not a good customer service at all and then construction during ultra-high season with a lot of noise and extremely muddy roads. The new way of transportation is very uncomfortable and you need to wait to get a transportation till they finish intern stuff; that seems very unprofessional to me. By the way: Most of these amazing beaches have been washed away by 3 storms this winter! There's no more romantic walk on the beach for Miles unless you want to walk in the water! "

" This is a beautiful Resort. The Villa we stayed had its own pool. The downside is that the pools are not heated so if there is any rain it is later in the day before it is warmed up enough to swim. The Villa was beautiful . They do need additional furniture in the units as the sound echos where you have trouble hearing each other. The only thing I did not like is that they insist on taking you to and from your unit in this giant truck. They should only use golf carts or invest in the golf carts that seat more people. The Spa is an amazing experience and do not miss this! There is some construction going on because the property is not completely built out. Right now there is only one restaurant and if you want to travel to others then that is another expense. There is a small restaurant nearby at the hostel. They do not allow you at that hostel restaurant to use their wifi It is only for guests. The staff is very receptive and helpful! "

" Our villa was exceptional, very soft pitch and entertainment to occupy time. Beautiful homes and great resort when finished. Definitely a place to live and vacation Scenia can help with whatever needs. She and Scott were priceless. Happy island hunting! "
