" Wonderful hotel! Best place I stayed in my entire trip to Peru. The location in Barranco was perfect - only a few blocks from the water in one direction, and to the Metropolitano in the other. Central to everything Barranco has to offer, and not too far from Miraflores. The hotel itself was also just lovely. The staff was tremendously friendly and helpful, and the space was immaculate and, indeed, quite chic. I don't know why they call themselves "basic," as this place is anything but. It includes breakfast prepared individually, which in addition to a "main" (four options including eggs, a sandwich, cereal, or fresh fruit), includes toast with butter and jam, orange juice, and unlimited coffee, tea, and/or hot chocolate. Coffee service is all-day, and they have a free water dispenser so you don't have to constantly buy new water bottles! The walls were a little thin, but this is a small complaint, and in any event, the hotel will provide "sound conditioners" (i.e., white noise machines) upon request. If I ever go back to Lima, I'd stay here again, hands down. Very highly recommended! "

" Did not disappoint! VERY helpful staff who spoke English at the front desk. Ordered our cab to the airport for us and allowed us to store our luggage after we checked out. Nice little common kitchen for everyone's use as well as where they make breakfast for you the next morning. Walking distance to many shops and restaurants. I stayed here in September, 2014. "
