HISTORY:
In the year 2002, Bayang Candle Enterprise was registered at the nearest DTI-Office in Cainta as a sole proprietorship candle manufacturing company. My husband and I started operating our business in the vicinity of our house with just Php10, 000 .00 as our working capital, 5 designs of floating candles, and lastly our determination and great perseverance in starting this business.

After the birth year of Bayang Candle Enterprise (BCE), of course there were birth pains, hardships, challenges, and struggles but, we did not give up for we know it is always the hardest part of every business, the beginning. And so, in 2003, we opened a small showroom of our products in the garage of our house for an extra income from the walk-in customers. The following year, with all our determination and perseverance, we are able to open our official show room in the vacant space beside our house. With God’s grace, after opening our store, several walk-in customers discovered our products; we are also able to gather different and bigger clients.
In the succeeding years, many people continue to discover and support our products. On the other hand, year 2007, several challenges arise; the price hike of raw materials, the economic competition, and many business related struggles. After all, we did not give up with our aspiring candle manufacturing business. Gaining several positive feedbacks from our customers kept us going. Seeing customers being so happy about our products gave us strength to work even harder for the betterment of our products.
A decade passed and my partner in operating this business happened to pass away, my beloved husband, Emerson Jose D. Bayang. I could say that this is indeed the hardest and toughest bridge to traverse for it is the thinnest and most crucial bridge of my journey.
After such, I looked around and then I was deeply captivated by our products, the candles. I stopped and asked myself if what is the real essence of these candles we are manufacturing for several years. Are these candles are just meant to give off light? Two years passed and I have collected my thoughts and I already have the answer to my question. Candles are not just made to give off light but truly, they are made to serve as a torch that could be a guide to gloomy and murky paths of every person, whether rich or poor. As I have collected my thoughts about this business, I gained full strength to rise once again, to continue giving satisfaction to customers with our high quality candles enclosed are our deepest and most sincere prayers in every candle they will light in any occasion.
Despite all struggles I never gave up on Bayang Candle Enterprise because I know as long as we serve high quality candles, we are also giving off torches that serve as guide to people who are in a murky path.
Also, in 2014, Bayang Candle Enterprise was featured in UNDAS 2015 special segment in TV Patrol, ABS-CBN. As a result, BCE gained positive results; more and more people discovered and supported our company and our products.
This year 2015, Bayang Candle Enterprise was awarded by Golden Globe Annual Awards For Business Excellence as the best quality design candle maker in Rizal, also awarded as the best trusted design candle maker in Rizal by Best Choice Awards and lastly, as the best candle manufacturer in the Philippines by Q-Asia Magazine.
