It is an organization dedicated to the production of artistic work and support for the arts and culture. Located in a rural-industrial environment and with a multidisciplinary team, in this space that is hybrid, it meets conditions for artistic creation from the process of conception of works, passing through technical designs, production, assembly and finishing at the installation of the works in site.At the same time, there are also developed curatorial and commissioning works, exhibition design and graphic works associated with the different artistic projects.Since 2013, artworks has been supporting various cultural projects, such as the production of pieces for the Venice Biennale of Architecture and Art, or the Biennale of Contemporary Art in Coimbra – Anozero, as well as supporting the production of artworks for different contexts and diverse productions such as partnerships with theatre companies, independent music and cinema festivals, contemporary art publications, among others. At the beginning of 2018 it started the artistic residency program – No Entulho – that aims to support young artists on the developing of a project and its production at the artworks headquarters.
