The gym is too tiny and the swimming pool is not really appropriate for exercising (more of a place for a drink). Only 1 out of the 3 lifts was working most of time, which made going down at breakfast time quite painful one morning. Shower temperature annoyingly oscillates and water pressure could be improved. My room had no shoehorn nor slippers and toilet paper quality is not the best. "

" Situated a little bit outside town this hotel offers great value. Beautiful marble reception area is very welcoming on arrival and rooms are pleasant, if a little dated. One criticism is the internet service which is slow at best. My 4G mobile connection was faster generally. And the TV did not even have a programme guide to see what was on. However, overall a great value, quality hotel that is a short taxi journey from the centre of town and the airport. "

" Looks like a 4* should be a 2*. Inexperienced reception staff that consistently let down. My wife went in person to see this hotel and book a room with a view as a surprise for my birthday. When we arrived the only view we had was of the motorway. We asked to change room, the first room we were offered had a better view but not by much and the third stank of cigarettes. When we opted for the second room we were told that it was given to someone else. We were offered another room a that was a downgrade with a €5 rebate, which considering the cost of the room, is nothing short of offensive. Eventually, we were offered a downgraded room with free dinner, an upgrade to a suite with o view or our money back after the receptionist spoke to a manager who was not on site. We opted for a refund because the whole experience was so upsetting. We were in the hotel for nearly 2 hours before we were finally offered some water, but only after asking twice. Will never return here. "
