" A friend told me about the wonders of Império Sousa, "it's everything you want and more" he said . He wasn't wrong , I phoned a fortnight before arriving in Besteiros ensuring a seat for all of us during the busy Saturday dinner service.
Behind an unassuming door , nearly hidden away along a back street there is a place of piece and tranquility where the quality of the food is matched by the service which in turn is complimented by the ambience.
Our 9 year old son was expertly catered for and when he questioned what he was eating he wasn't just given the answer he was invited to the kitchen to see for himself!
To the chef and his team you have my deepest thanks - food this good is often looked for but so seldom found.
All of the food was great, fantastic, amazing. But I'll never forget the Delicious Melon! "
