El Espacio Cultural La Estación se inauguró oficialmente en enero de 2013. Actualmente cuenta con el apoyo de la fundación Avare Sume, liderado por Lider Gonzalez. El Espacio Cultural también tiene el apoyo de un equipo de jóvenes, los Conductores Culturales, quienes están trabajando para ofrecer más programas culturales y comunitarios para los Paraguarienses.

Compartimos historia, anécdotas, charlas educativas, integración de niños y jóvenes, teatro, pintura, lectura.

También ofrecemos un tur a los visitantes de todas las edades, como así también actividades recreativas y de participación.

Para los que quieren participar contamos con un club de teatro para jóvenes y niños los viernes 14:00-16:00 y un club para chicas entre 8-12, Vamos Chicas Vamos, los sábados 9:00-11:00.

COMO LLEGAR A LA ESTACIÓN?

Desde el terminal de Asunción toma el colectivo Paraguari (rojo y azul) y bajarse frente de la Facultad de Economía en la plaza. Seguir la doble avenida hasta que termina el asfaltado y seguir derecho por el empedrado hasta su fin (queda 5 cuadras de la plaza de la iglesia)

Con otra linea que pasa por Ruta 1 (Quindyyense, Carapeguense, cualquier que se va a Encarnacion) bajarse en el Petrobras, cruza la Ruta y seguir el camino que pasa frente de Supermercado Ayala. Cruza la Plaza de la Gobernación y seguir la doble avenida hasta donde termina.

Espacio Cultural La Estación was inaugurated in January of 2013. It currently is supported by the cultural foundation Avare Sume, led by Lider Gonzalez. The cultural space is also supported by a team of highschool and college-aged youth called the Cultural Conductors who are working to offer more cultural and community programming for visitors.

Our goals include: sharing history, anecdotes, educational presentations, community building activities for children and youth, and promotion of the arts and literacy.

DIRECTIONS TO THE TRAIN STATION:

From the Asuncion terminal: Take the Paraguari bus (red and blue) and get off in front of the Facultad de Economia (a light yellow building in the church plaza). Turn right down the double-sided avenue (with island walkways in the middle) and walk down until the asphalted road ends, cross the street and contniue straight on the cobblestone road 2 more blocks and you'll run right into the train station. It's about a 5 block walk from the Church plaza (Plaza de la iglesia if you're asking for directions).

You can also use any other bus line that travels south on Ruta 1, such as the Quindyyense, Carapeguense or any other bus whose destination is Encarnacion. In this case you will need to get off the bus on the Ruta in front of the Petrobras gas station. Cross to the other side of the Ruta to the left and walk straight down this cobblestone road that passes in front of the Supermarket Ayala. Walk up 2 blocks to the Plaza of the Gobernacion (Also called the Church plaza) and continue straight down the double avenue for 5 blocks (See: above paragraph for more specific instructions about the double avenue).

If you get lost you can ask anyone on the street where the train station is or "Donde queda La Estacion?"
