" Rich history. Massive structure. Architecturally speaking, amazing and visionary. Bummer that you cannot take indoor photos. "

" Nice church, a must see for Brasov's visitors. There is a entrance tax and no photos allowed inside. Currently there are some (re?) constructions outside so it was ruining the mood a bit and couldn't take proper photos. "

" Not at all pretty inside, the tapestries are small and faded, almost no ornamentation. The only thing worth while was the backs of the pews. Certainly not worth 10 lei. "

" One of the top sites to see in Brasov. Called the Black Church due to its darkened colour after a fire.
It's under refurbishment at the moment on the outside North and east facing walls so not as photo friendly but still go and have a look around. (August 2017) "

" Great iconic landmark of Brasov! You should really visit it sometimes when the 4.000 pipe organ is being played! "

" According to historian, it is the largest gothic church between Vienna and Turkey. The church was destroyed in 17th century. As the walls were blacken by the fire and couldn't be renovated, it is called the Black Church. The church was subsequently restored, which took about 100 years. The church houses one of the largest organ in Europe. "

" Such an impressive building, its not until you round the corner and see the sheer size of it that you can begin to appreciate its beauty. "

" When you look at it you get to see that this is the biggest building in the surrounding area. You'll also notice its' gray walls which are thought to be like that since a fire burnt Brașov. Once you enter it, you'll notice that it's not only the size that is impressive, but also the marble columns, the inside decorations, the organ and the entire medieval aspect this church has. Definetly worth visiting. "

" Located in the city centre, close to Piata Sfatului. The architecture is absolutely amazing. If you can get to an organ concert, do not hesitate. "
