Klepikovsky District

Klepikovsky District is an administrative and municipal district, one of the twenty-five in Ryazan Oblast, Russia. It is located in the north of the oblast. The area of the district is 3235km2. Its administrative center is the town of Spas-Klepiki. Population: 25,476 ; The population of Spas-Klepiki accounts for 23.2% of the district's total population.Economy and transportationThe Mesherskoye peat narrow gauge railway serves a peat factory which became operational in 2013.
