" Situated on the edge of a pretty lake it is really the perfect place for a refreshing & peaceful Getaway. Just 40-50 minutes drive from Kigali through beautiful Rwandan Countryside.
~ Great Roomy Bungalows with 24 hr Hot Showers
~ beautiful Gardens with nice Seating areas & many types of birds.
~ Simple but nice Food
~ Great Deck sitting over the lake with Floodlights at night.
~ Nice quiet road for walking around the Lake
~ Childrens Pool & Playground
~ Very Helpful Staff
Really this is great value for your money if you want a peaceful retreat, I was suprised at how nice everything was :)
~ They didnt have internet but I was able to connect to local network for internet & calls. ~ Maybe some little things could have been improved but for this price point ($30usd) I was extremely happy. "

" Attention foreigners!! DO NOT I repeat DO NOT book with this hotel.
I love traveling and Rwanda is one of my favorite places to be. But this hotel is one of the worst establishments I’ve ever been to.
To start, we were promised WiFi, a large bed, tv and a fish dinner. We got none of that so we opted to leave. But decided to atleast eat at their restaurant first. The food was way over priced and a complete disappointment.
We left our luggage in a room while we ate Only to find out that the employees and owner are theives. They all have duplicate keys to each room and will do random room checks while you are not watching.
When we tried to leave the drunk owner attacked us so we called the police and a taxi. The security and the police told us that the owner drinks a lot and that the hotel is known for fights between the owner and the clients......yikes. We definitely got the hint to leave at that very moment.
This is a money hungry hotel. Though the scenery is beautiful, it’s not worth being robbed and disrespected. Be careful people...this happened to me on New Year’s Eve. "
