" The Diplomatic Mission of the Republic of the Philippines to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is located at the Diplomatic Quarters in the capital city, Riyadh. The Philippine Embassy, headed by its ambassador is the highest and only political institution of the Philippine Government in this host country Saudi Arabia. Hence, all official transactions of every Filipino citizen will be channelled through the Philippine Embassy.. As of this posting, the current Ambassador is H.E. Adnan V. Alonto. "

" It seems the entire concept of the embassy has escaped this location. This country is filled with Filipinos. Many are being mistreated and their labor agreement's being broken REGULARLY and on a daily basis. 7 day work weeks. Late pay. Retaining of passport and eqama. Being confined to quarters. Not allowed to leave. Not allowed to communicate with the outside world. This is not why Filipinos come here. You need to start being more helpful to the people who make your job possible. "

" Awful experience!!! Waited for almost an hour para lang sa finger printing ng NBI clearance card. I went to the cashier and I was told to just wait and matatawag din daw ang name ko. Hay naku!! Napaka-incompetent ng procedures nila. Pede no STAR rating?? I am never happy coming to my own embassy. Laging madami ang naghihintay. Mga tao nakasimangot! I think they need to hire more people. "

" The staff in the Philippine Embassy are not very helpful when it comes to complain about some issue in regards to a domestic helper. I asked them for help regarding my sister in law Grace Escobar Llantero who is in Riyadh, but they haven't done anything to send her home. I called them a few times but no result yet. Grace employer kept her in her room like a prison for 4 months and they took away her passport and cell phone. For more than 1/2 a year Grace did not have any communication with her family. She wanted to go home but we are not able to help her due to a communication issue (no cell phone). We are relying in the Philippine Embassy personnel to help her out on our behalf but it's like, you are talking to a wall. If anyone from the higher position can read this, please do something with your staff. Make them do their job. Grace was transferred from one employer to another. I gave them the name of her first employer - Muhaya Almutaire and she was transferred to her brother Mohammad Almutir. Her agency is Al Ambat Recuitment Agency which is very hard to contact. "
