This trip sees guests spending the weekend in the Arnavons Marine Conservation Area, assisting local rangers with their daily activities such as turtle tagging, hatchling counts, and crocodile spotting to name a few.

Independence Weekend, Friday 6 – Monday 9 July
Minimum number required to confirm trip is 8, and as space is very limited due to Aircraft, boat, and accommodation capacity; we can only offer a maximum of 14 spaces per trip. It is advisable to book as early as possible to secure a spot.

Just a 45 minute boat ride out from Honiara is the jewel of the Central Province, Roderick Bay Beach Homestay. The view from the balconies of two of it's recently completed bungalows is the final resting place of World Discoverer, a cruise vessel that has become a part of Roderick Bay's attractions.
Two Bungalows are available to accommodate guests, and a third is near completion.
