L'union Estate is a National Heritage of La Digue. To the park belongs the Coconut and the Vanilla Plantation, The Giant Tortoises, the Boatyard, the Plantation House, the Traditional Coprah Factory, the old colonial cemetery and the most famous beach in the world Anse Source D'Argent.

Anse Source D'Argent beach located on the south west cost of the island is unique beach which landscape makes it one of the most photographed beaches in the world. The former coconut and vanilla plantation is a real insight into La Digue colonial history. Until the 1980s coconuts were actually grown in the plantation fields and copra were (the dried flesh from which coconut oil is processed) produced. The traditional copra mill with an ox complements is the culture of the island. The copra mill can be visited and offers the chance for everyone to see how copra is being made. Of further historical significance is the old cemetery. The first settlers of La Digue are buried at this location. Besides that, the Aldabra Giant Tortoise enclosure is another popular tourist attraction. The Plantation House is one of the oldest examples of French colonial architecture on La Digue and was once the home of a Mauritian family who became wealthy on La Digue. The building was created using precious wood and covered with palm leaves. Neighboring the vanilla plantation is a 40- meter monolith in the sky. The Giant Union Rock occupies an area of 4,000 m² and is estimated to be around 700 million years old.
